Seeking Continuing Education?

Each of the 12 sessions within the ACEs Aware Ventura County lecture series is eligible for 1 credit hour of Continuing Education. Credit types available include: Continuing Medical Education (CME) for physicians, Maintenance of Certification Part 2 (MOCII) for pediatricians, Continuing Education (CE) for Registered Nurses and *Continuing Education (CE) for Psychologists, LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs.

* Credit available through December 31, 2022 for physicians and nurses attending on-demand.

For those seeking CME, complete the complete the session registration process, in which you will note what credit type you are seeking. After viewing the session, you will then complete the post-session evaluation. Email acesaware@ventura.org to confirm completion and submit your request for continuing medical education.

PHYSICIANS: The AAFP has reviewed ACEs Aware Ventura County Provider Training, and deemed it acceptable for AAFP credit. Term of approval is from 01/01/2022 to 12/31/2022. PSYCHOLOGISTS: ACEs Aware Ventura County is partnering with Casa Pacifica Centers for Children & Families to provide continuing education credit for attendees of the live lecture series sessions. Casa Pacifica Centers for Children & Families is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. Casa Pacifica Centers for Children & Families maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Continuing education credit is not available to those viewing pre-recorded workshops on-demand. LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs: ACEs Aware Ventura County is partnering with Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families to provide continuing education credit for attendees of the live lecture series sessions. Each session meets the qualifications for 1 hour of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, and LPCCs (Provider 016190). Continuing education credit is not available to those viewing pre-recorded workshops on-demand.
