How Providers Can Start Screening for ACEs

After finishing the ACEs Aware training and attesting to completing the course, you can start screening patients for ACEs. ACEs Aware has designed state-approved screening tools to help providers assess their patients. Start here to learn more about how to begin screening for ACEs in Ventura County.

We will help you:

  • Introduce ACEs to your clinic staff

  • Understand the screening tools and how to score and bill for them

  • Establish a screening workflow

  • Get connected to resources for patient referrals

  • Identify Physician/Staff “Champions” to lead ACEs work at your clinic

Get Trained & Attest.

To start screening for ACEs at your clinic, you must begin by becoming ACEs Aware certified. After completing the training, self-attest to start screening and receiving payment from Medi-Cal.
